Registry of Injunctions and Cease and Desist Affidavits

In furtherance of the goal of protecting the public, the following is a list of State Bar, District Committee and Standing Committee actions that have resulted in cease and desist affidavits or complaints for injunctive relief seeking to enjoin individuals from the unlicensed practice of law. At the direction of the Standing Committee, the list of those who have signed cease and desist affidavits is reviewed annually. Those who have signed such an affidavit within two years of that review remain posted.

Lukemire wherein Defendant ABTN, INC., and its officers, employees and agents were "permanently forbidden, restrained, and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Georgia."
ADKINS, BOBBY GLENN, JR., Superior Court of Cobb County, 07-1-0334-42. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on January 7, 2012. Consent Final Order entered on May 23, 2007, by Judge Adele L. Grubbs wherein Defendant Bobby Glenn Adkins, Jr. was "forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia."

ALYSHAH IMMIGRATION AGENCY, INC., Superior Court of DeKalb County, 02CV7660-8. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on July 17, 2002. Consent Order entered October 30, 2002, by Judge Linda Warren Hunter wherein Defendant Alyshah Immigration Agency, Inc., and its officers, directors, employees and agents were "permanently forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia."

ALYSHAH IMMIGRATION AGENCY, INC., Superior Court of DeKalb County, 02CV7660-8. Motion for Contempt of Court filed by State Bar of Georgia on January 19, 2005. Order on Contempt entered April 21, 2005, by Judge Linda Warren Hunter wherein Defendant Alyshah Immigration Agency, Inc. and its sole corporate officer were “found to be in criminal contempt.”

AMIR, MARQUISHA, a/k/a ANDREA AMIR, individually, and d/b/a WWW.LOWLLC.COM, and d/b/a LOW LLC, and d/b/a LOW LLC, INC., Superior Court of Gwinnett County, 08A-01045-7. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on January 31, 2008.
BRADSHAW, BARRY D., Superior Court of DeKalb County, 04CV4685. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on April 16, 2004. Order entered on July 14, 2004, by Judge Robert J. Castellani wherein Defendant Barry Bradshaw was "permanently forbidden, restrained, and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Georgia."

BREANDA, ROSLYN, individually, and d/b/a PARALEGALS UNLIMITED, Superior Court of Rockdale County, 2008CV1052-I. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on January 16, 2008. Consent Final Order entered on June 19, 2008, by Judge David Irwin wherein Defendant Rosyln Breanda was "permanently forbidden, restrained, and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia."

BREANDA, ROSLYN, individually, and d/b/a PARALEGALS UNLIMITED, Superior Court of Rockdale County, 2008CV1052-I. Petition for Citation for Contempt filed by State Bar of Georgia on August 23, 2013. Consent Final Order on Contempt entered on November 7, 2013, by Judge David Irwin wherein "Defendant Roslyn Breanda [was] found to be in criminal contempt."

CARRODUS, CINDY BENNETT, a/k/a CINDY ELAINE BENNETT, individually, and d/b/a INDEPENDENT PARALEGAL SERVICES, Superior Court of Douglas County, 14CV02655. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on October 23, 2014. Consent Final Order entered on November 12, 2014, by Judge William H. McClain wherein Defendant Cindy Bennett Carrodus was "permanently forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia."
COOK, KATRINA, Superior Court of Coweta County, 06-V-332. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on February 28, 2006. Consent Order entered on April 10, 2006, by Judge William F. Lee, Jr. wherein Defendant Katrina Cook was "permanently forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging the in the practice of law within the State of Georgia."

DAVIS, JAMES, individually, and d/b/a LEGAL FOR LESS, Superior Court of Fulton County, 2015CV266373. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on September 30, 2015. Default Judgment entered on December 2, 2015, by Judge Ural Glanville wherein Defendant James Davis was “permanently forbidden, restrained, and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Georgia.”

DAVIS, JAMES, individually, and d/b/a LEGAL FOR LESS, Superior Court of Fulton County, 2019CV324595. Petition for Citation for Contempt filed by State Bar of Georgia on July 24, 2019. Order on Petition for Contempt entered on December 30, 2020, by Judge Constance C. Russell wherein Defendant James Davis was found “to be in willful criminal contempt and civil contempt for engaging in a pattern of conduct by persisting in the unauthorized practice of law, in direct violation of this Court’s 2015 order.”

DAVIS, JAMES, individually, and d/b/a LEGAL FOR LESS, Superior Court of Fulton County, 2019CV324595.  Final Order on Contempt entered on January 17, 2023, by Judge Belinda Edwards wherein Respondent James E. Davis was sentenced to 20 days imprisonment (suspended) and fined $1,000.00 based on previous finding of contempt.

DAVIS, RITA K., f/k/a RITA WEAVER, individually, and d/b/a THE CLOSING PLACE OF CANTON, Superior Court of Fannin County, 07-V-659. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on July 25, 2007. Consent Final Order entered on September 27, 2007, by Judge Brenda Weaver wherein Defendant Rita K. Davis was “permanently forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia.”

Consent Order entered on October 26, 2006, by Judge Bryant Durham wherein Defendant Document Center, Inc., and its officers, employees, agents and successors in interest were “permanently forbidden, restrained and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law within the State of Georgia.”

Final Order of Default Judgment entered on March 30, 2012, by Judge T. Jackson Bedford, Jr. wherein Defendant EEO Consultations, its officers, employees, agents and successors in interest were "permanently forbidden, restrained, and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Georgia."

ELLIS, CATHERINE, Superior Court of Wayne County, 151-04-CV-0233. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on April 23, 2004. Order and Judgment entered on July 9, 2004, by Judge Stephen G. Scarlett wherein Defendant Catherine Ellis was "PERMANENTLY FORBIDDEN, RESTRAINED, AND ENJOINED from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Georgia."
EVANS, WYATT LAVELL, a/k/a ROBERT GOENS, Superior Court of Fulton County, 2010CV186209. Complaint for Injunctive Relief filed by State Bar of Georgia on May 27, 2010. Default Judgment entered on November 17, 2010, by Judge Christopher S.
